Nigeria Under-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, defeated hosts Senegal 1-0 to win the 19th edition of the African U-20 Championship played on Sunday night at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar.
A first half wonder strike from Bernard Bulbwa was all the Nigerians needed to seal a record seventh continental title.
Flying Eagles had earlier defeated their Senegalese counterparts 3-1 in their first Group A clash, in the competition the Nigerians won without losing a single match.
