ING: GROUP CHALLENGES FAYEMI TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE

Fayemi: I am ready to defend my actions

Move on Nigeria, a Civic Action group promoting good governance and democracy, has dismissed the claim by the immediate past governor of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi, that he had evidence of President Goodluck Jonathan's plan to install an interim government and that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was invited to be part of the ING arrangement.

In a statement yesterday by its national co-ordinator, Mr Clem Aguiyi, the group said:
"President Jonathan has said over and over that ING is unknown to our constitution. He went as far as saying that the idea was treasonable while asking those nursing the idea to perish the thought."
The group challenged Fayemi to make public his evidence that President Jonathan was packaging an Interim National Government.
